Gold Prices Drop: Per Tola Rate Falls by Rs. 500

The cost of 24-karat gold has decreased, while silver rates remain stable.

The price of gold has fallen in Pakistan, according to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewelers Association. On Tuesday, the price of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs. 500 per tola, bringing the new rate to Rs. 358,300. This follows its sale at Rs. 358,800 on the previous day.

The price for 10 grams of 24-karat gold also saw a drop of Rs. 429, now selling at Rs. 307,184. Similarly, the price for 10 grams of 22-karat gold is now Rs. 281,595 after a decrease of Rs. 393.

In contrast, the rates for silver remained unchanged in the local market, with per tola and 10-gram prices holding steady at Rs. 4,013 and Rs. 3,440, respectively.

This local trend mirrors a slight decrease in the international market, where gold fell by $5 to $3,356 per ounce. International silver prices also remained unchanged at $37.80.
