Got Slow Internet? Blame Pakistan's 5G Delay.

Pakistan is currently facing a big problem with internet speed and network quality, and the reason is a severe shortage of "spectrum." According to official reports, Pakistan only has 274 MHz of spectrum available. This is much less than other countries in the region, which is why your internet may be slow and your calls drop.
Pakistan is far behind its neighbors when it comes to spectrum. For example:
Saudi Arabia has 1200 MHz
Thailand has 600 MHz
Bangladesh has 600 MHz
With so little spectrum, it's hard for mobile companies to provide good service, especially with more and more people using the internet every day.
To fix this problem, the government is getting ready to auction off 5G spectrum. This will help improve network quality and solve the issue of slow internet and network jams.
The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has already started the process and hired a global expert to help with the auction. If the auction is successful, here's what could happen:
Boost the Economy: 5G could increase Pakistan's GDP by up to 2.4% and create millions of new jobs.
Attract Investment: It could also bring in more foreign investment and increase exports.
Better Ranking: Right now, Pakistan is at the bottom of the list for spectrum availability in the region. But after the auction, it is expected to jump up to the 6th place.
Currently, over 100 countries have already launched 5G. This new step will help Pakistan catch up and bring faster, more reliable internet to everyone.
